Recent revelations emanating from Libya have put Nigerian leaders on the edge of their seats.
They are now looking at ways to put a final end to what they have termed shameful incidents.
Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is considering a quick and permanent solution to the plight of Nigerians refugees in Libya and those ready to dies to cross the Mediterranean in search of greener pastures.
Speaking at a meeting with heads of agencies in-charge of migration, following a directive by the President to look into the situation of Nigerian refugees held in Libya, Osinbajo frowned at the situation where young Nigerians were deceived by their sponsors.
In an attempt to bring a lasting solution to the crisis, Nigeria President has vowed to reduce the number of Nigerians heading for Europe illegally through the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea.
According to Buhari, this will be done by providing basic social amenities while improving the standards of education, healthcare, food and security.
