Iwobi dreams Iheanacho partnership in Arsenal

igerian international and Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi has expressed desire to see compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho join him at Arsenal.
Iwobi felt the Gunners can cash in on the ‘funniest guy he knows’ and believed he can influence a transfer move for the Manchester City striker to join him at the Emirates Stadium.
He hailed the City forward and disclosed why he would love to see him in Arsenal’s traditional red and white jersey.
“I tell you, you should see us on Snapchat! Always bantering. We’re room-mates right now and he’s just the funniest guy I know, ” Iwobi said, according to the Daily Mail.
“We do get on well off the pitch as well as on the pitch. Maybe I can try to convince Arsenal to sign him – but I don’t think that’s going to happen this season.”
Both players started Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Senegal in an international friendly held at the Hive Stadium three days ago with Iheanacho scoring a late penalty to earn the Eagles a late draw.
Iheanacho and the Hale End Academy product had formed a close bond on and off the pitch, with the Citizens wonderkid helping him settle into the Super Eagles squad when he was first called up.
